Project - Translink Express – Commercial Roof Replacement

ACT Industrial was appointed by Translink Express to deliver a major commercial roofing refurbishment on behalf of Mileway, one of Europe’s leading owners and managers of last-mile logistics real estate. The project involved the safe removal and disposal of approximately 6,000m² of cement-bonded asbestos roofing, carried out by our fully qualified specialists in strict accordance with current health and safety regulations. Working in carefully planned phases allowed the site to remain fully operational throughout the programme, ensuring minimal disruption to the client’s day-to-day activities. 

 

As part of the refurbishment, the existing guttering system was overhauled using the HD Sharman Plygene gutter lining system before a new 120mm Tata Steel Trisomet insulated roof was installed. The completed roofing system provides significantly improved weather protection, thermal efficiency and long-term durability, helping to future-proof the building for years to come.
