Works are now underway on site as construction begins on a new warehouse build.
Works are now progressing well on site as construction gets underway on a new warehouse build, starting with an early morning start to prepare for the concrete delivery. Being on site early ensured everything was set out, checked, and ready, allowing this key stage of the project to run smoothly and safely.
Early groundwork and concrete works are a critical part of any industrial build. They form the literal foundation of the building and play a major role in setting the programme, quality, and efficiency of the works that follow. Getting this stage right helps minimise disruption later in the build and provides a solid base for the structure as it begins to take shape.
This project involves the replacement of an existing, dilapidated warehouse for our client. The previous building had reached the end of its serviceable life and no longer met the operational needs of a growing business. Rather than attempting to adapt an outdated structure, the decision was made to invest in a modern, purpose-built facility.
The new warehouse will provide improved storage capacity. It will also offer a more robust, long-term solution that supports future growth and changing requirements.
With the initial works now complete, the project is off to a strong and positive start. Credit to the team on site for a well-coordinated beginning, and we look forward to sharing further updates as the build progresses and the new warehouse continues to take shape.
